The statistical investigation was carried out within a selected sample of students at the South Bohemian University. The focus was primarily on the analyses of: reasons the students have to study at the University; students' attitudes towards the studies; students' idea of being able to work in the profession they study; circumstances/conditions of the studies (considering the lime investment, financial burden, daily commuting, and advantages or disadvantages of living away from the family); student employment during the studies, the income from such employment, and its financial impact; education expenses (here, taken into consideration were only direct, financial, parental contributions and the eventual own income from employment. It concerns appreciation of the own location on the work market in comparison with the graduated students of the secondary technical schools and with the graduated students of non-agricultural universities. Concerning some other questions, the graduated students talked about the needs of further studying and obtaining special knowledge at the mother's university. Two-thirds graduated 'students appreciated in this way the importance of studying at university, one-half thinks, that the graduated students of non-agricultural universities are more successful. The graduated students of the specialization in economics appreciate better their own location in the work market. One - third graduated students have the need to go on studying in the way of post gradual studying. The labour market responses on the low economic growth and uncertainty with the increasing number of part-time employment, lime-limited labour contract and with work during Sundays and holidays as well. The employers try to keep cost on low level with the maximization of capital effectiveness and with an effort to meet the consumer demand they try to survive on a very competitive market. The article is very close to the article in the last copy of this magazine. The authors followed the number of customers of stores during a week and also the value of purchases of the selected part of shoppers. The research result showed, that for the number of shoppers during certain period there was the most important fact - the location of the store in town, store area has less importance. According to the location of the store, the shopping peak is created. Shopping peaks arc mainly in late afternoon (15 - 19) in the suburbs, near the centre there are in various ways, at midday or about 16 p.m. Large supermarkets and hypermarkets out of the town has divided turnover regularly. Appreciation of the productivity of labour created by turnover per 1 worker, the second place had store A, the first place had store E. It has a big number of customers, small turnover / I purchase, but also little number of workers. The authors think, that it is necessary to pay attention to increasing the productivity of labour in the stores in order they can be competitive in future, too. Small agricultural enterprises did not pay much attention to financial and cost accounting. There was a need to change this situation as a response to the figures used in EU countries (Germany for example). The enterprises in Czech Republic face similar problem, even with different initial moment (our enterprises used to have an accounting based on incomes, profits and losses). Because of the accession of Czech Republic into European Union, it is necessary to analyze the methods and economics figures and to compare their contents.
