Rabbit meat production throughout has been constantly increasing (during the period 1994-2007, the volume of production increased from 1 million tonnes to 1,7 million tonnes - i.e. 67%). In the long term, the share of rabbit meat in the total volume of world meat production has been oscillating between 0,5-0,7%.The first part of the paper analyses the main development trends and tendencies. The second part analyses the influence of selected factors on volume of actual production and trade (exchange rate (CZK/€), unit price (€/kg), export volume (in kilograms). The basis for the analyses of mutual relations between selected variables is the regression analysis. The results of individual regressions are tested through the classical t-test and the relationships between variables are tested at the significance level alfa=0,05 and alfa=0,01. The influence of individual parameters (exogenous variables) change on the analysed endogenous variable is quantified through the elasticity calculation. Another very important part of the paper is the analysis of Czech rabbit meat export competitiveness in the world market. The analysis of competitiveness is made through the calculation of RCA index (the Balassa (1965) Index of revealed comparative advantage). The analyses of global environment changes cover the time period since 1993 to 2007. The analyses of the Czech rabbit meat production and trade is based on the analysis of the selected subject of the Czech rabbit meat market (meat processing company - Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov a.s.). This company has a significant share of the total Czech rabbit meat market and it is also the dominant rabbit meat exporter. The analysis of Czech rabbit meat exports covers the time period since January 2004 to July 2009. It must be mentioned that this paper is written as a part of more extensive research undertaken by author and co-authors, and also that paper is undertaken within the framework of research activities which are a part of VZ MSM 6046070906 ("Economics of resources of Czech agriculture and their efficient use in frame of multifunctional agri-food systems"). Against the present, some changes will be made there which should touch first of all financing of agriculture and the countryside. Then, these changes will fundamentally influence incomes of agricultural producers. The presented paper is devoted to the problems of income situation of farmers in "new" EU member states, their development before and after joining the Community. By the help of income indicators A and C, a development of incomes from agricultural operations and impacts of this development in endowment measures and measures supporting the activity diversification are evaluated. From the research results and from presupposed variations of the future CAP development, possible future impacts on the income farmers' situation are derived. The main aim is a presentation of the results of an analysis of the provided financial subventions, which are flowing in agriculture and rural areas in context of the at present actual Rural Development Programme of the Czech Republic for 2007-2013 (RDP). RDP was analysed according to its particular groups of measures in the comparison of Czech regions. LFA areas are rate as less favoured areas. Most of the surveyed population is economically active and they assess their current life situation as good. In a comprehensive evaluation of life indicators (see tab. 3.), there are defined two groups of people, group of satisfied residents and a group of people more satisfied. Most critically was assessed local transport infrastructure. In the studie area hasn't 66% villages natural gas network. More than 3/4 majority of the inhabitants of these villages, however, hasn't interest of natural gas network in their community and do not perceive this fact as a reduction in quality of life. Were examined the existence and tightness of the link between civic activity (civic activity was represented by two attributes - see tab. 5) and selected indicators (size of community, population education, age, and patriotizmus position in the labor market). It isn't shown a link between education and civic activity, and vice versa has been demonstrated the link between civic activity and size of villages. Other indicators correspond with at least one of the attributes of civic activities. The mechanism of binding has been investigated by sign scheme. We came to interesting conclusions. Worth noting is the fact that it has been shown that people aged 18-29 years with the development of villages hasn't interested. With this corresponds the fact that people with "different" position on the labor market (these are mainly students and young unemployed) than they are employees, self-employed and seniors, they don't engaging of active work to develop villages. In the case of river wetlands, it is especially about the connection of the economic management of the area with the environmental management whose objective is to achieve economically sustainable use of the stream and river wetlands. To fulfill this requirement, it is necessary to find a certain ratio between the "top-down" and "bottom-up" management. The objective of the presented sociological survey was to acquire an idea of how the existence of the wetland and its ecological functions is perceived by the local population. In other words, it means they are social, cognitive and value orientation of the local population as assumptions of the "bottom-up" management. This survey was performed in three river wetlands in South Bohemia - wetlands of the rivers Blanice, Stropnice and Lužnice which were selected according to the degree of anthropogenic changes in the wetland from a relatively natural wetland to a regulated one. This survey was performed in two phases by using standardized dialogues with the total number of 300 respondents - meaning 100 respondents in each wetland. The results show that according to the opinions of the local population, it is necessary to increase retention of water in the landscape in a natural way, if possible. The technical solution, which uses reservoirs and which is the most often shown as reduction of the flood risk for the local population, is shown by the respondents on the last place. Acquired results show that the "bottom-up" management which takes into consideration opinions and experience of the population living in the region, can be more efficient and safer to the landscape than commonly applied "top-down" management. Therefore, it is necessary to provide space also for this management type in decision-making process about the type of the management of water eco-systems. The aim of this paper is a quantification of differences in production capability between organic and conventional farming and a quantification of differences in influence of main factors of production in both agricultural production systems. The analyses, which were done to achieve the aim, were based on unbalanced panel data. The data was gained from 143 organic farms and 388 conventional producers, represented by Czech legal entities, in periods 2004-2008. The methodology of organic farming productiveness research was based on comparative analyses of stochastic production functions of both mentioned agriculture production systems. The production functions were specified as the random effects models and estimated by generalized method of least squares. Results of the analyses indicate the lower productivity of Czech organic farming in comparison with conventional farming and identify the differences in the usage of basic production factors as well.Pieces of knowledge introduced in this paper resulted from solution of an institutional research intention MSMT 6046070906 "Economics of resources of Czech agriculture and their efficient use in frame of multifunctional agri-food systems". Through the multiplier the indirect effect of tourism might be measured. The value of tourist multiplier is a strongly discussed topic, especially in the Czech Republic. The indirect effects of tourism are commonly measured by multiplier in other countries. The article aims to quantify the indirect effects of tourism in the Southern Bohemia. To quantify these effects the primary research was made in order to find out the value and the structure of tourist expenditures in the region. The quantification of multiplier was based on the tourist expenditures and the analysis of symmetric input-output tables. Through the calculated multiplier the indirect impacts of tourism were finally derived. Communication within the Internet online auction systems generally takes place without users being in physical contact or knowing anything about each other. Therefore, they have to rely upon that mechanisms implemented within these online systems: reputation systems. Most of these mechanisms are based on the creation of a trustworthy environment, with the help of additional attributes associated with users and their roles. These attributes are constructed based upon previous transactions or recommendations (positive or negative comments about such transactions). In this paper, we have focused on analysis of some elements of online auction systems which are specific and important when auditing these systems. The creation of trust in the online auction environment is the basis for proper functioning of these environments.
