The analysis is based on data published by the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA). The financial and economic crisis caused in 2008-2009 a rapid cooling of the European market. General Partners have decreased significantly in private equity investment level and number of enterprises financed in Europe as a whole. The financial and economic crisis has resulted in the level of investment in all sectors activity, reaching all market segments. The financial and economic crisis on CEE market showed a delay and a lower intensity in comparison with Western Europe. CEE market is, however, underdeveloped. This argument is supported by data indicating annual investment value, number of companies received private equity financing and the ratio of private equity investment to gross domestic product (GDP). The respondents' opinions of possibilities how to improve the economic weakness of villages and the importance of sources of funding in this article. LFA areas are evaluated as less favoured areas. When we globally evaluate economic weakness of villages we have demonstrated that with increasing number of people living in the village the perception of the village as economically weak is reduced. The greatest cause of economic weakness of villages is considered a high proportion of elderly people and low share of university educated people and poor transport accessibility. Definitely the greatest demonstration of this weakness is the aging population. Options to improve the economic situation of most villages are perceived in strengthening tourism, transport service and services.Analysis of sources of financing for villages showed that the most common source of financing are own resources followed by resources from EU funds, ministries and government. Cooperation with the private sector or other sources of funding are negligible. Today European funds seem to be increasingly important. More than 3/4 population consider this source of funding very important. This conception can be illustrated as a triangle, where each area influences the others by same rate. This triple helix works with different range, quality and effectiveness in whatever region, including the South Bohemia as well. Author introduces a new view on innovational process on the regional level and demonstrates, that the bindings between phases are so important, that every, even particular and long-term ignored deficiency, can affect the whole outcome of the innovational process in the form of stagnation of the regional development. From 1977 to 2009 it is possible to identify four wholly different periods in the development of purchase prices of milk in European Union countries. The first period is defined in years 1977 to 1990. This phase is associated with an increase in price of realization and a with strong seasonal trend. In the second phase of development (from 1991 to 2002) it leads to stagnation of the prices and it is not measurable any significant trend. The third stage occurs with the entry of new countries into the European Union in 2003 and ending in 2007. Opening new markets and removing trade barriers led naturally to compensate for price level of old and new countries. Attenuates the effect of seasonal variations. In the last phase (starting in 2008) there is a turbulent development which does not allow a description with the mathematical model. The contribution is part of the research project MSM 6007665806. For management decisions within a company its managers should know the basic comparison of costs and budget. This also applies to financial companies that are in some factors different to the normal procedures. However, it is differently defined. The paper highlights the difference of controlling and audit and difference of strategic and operational controlling. It also discusses the different role of controlling in traditional and process management. Investigation was realized during two years in the form of questionnaires. In the year 2008 questionnaires were received from 104 firms and in the following year from further 117 firms. This article uses data from the second period of the investigation. The most important part of the paper deals with the assessment of questionnaires related to use of logistic controlling in firms. The majority of indices used in firms are aimed at reached results at the end of the year, only some of them are focused at processing indices that should reveal causes of these results. The results of the survey are presented as the ordination diagram.Logistic departments should be engaged also in logistic controlling. In many firms, mostly the smaller, logistic departments are not established and their competencies are transferred mainly on business departments. These departments are able to run only the necessary agenda and cannot develop logistic controlling so, that it could be advantageous for the firms. Controlling has been applied at 25 % of investigated firms, but only 8,5 % of them were focused also on logistic controlling. Therefore, regular and periodical management of inventories, transport and especially information technologies, facilitating effective usage of controlling, are underestimated. The decision on the final goal is made considering the weights of criteria and alternatives. Application of fuzzy AHP was demonstrated on selecting process of the most significant factors of corporate culture based on Denison's model of corporate culture and determination of its weights. The described weights are depending on expert's assessments, which may vary depending on different experiences and priorities. In order to overcome this problem, some researchers and authors made the Saaty's AHP modified and fuzzified to formulate and control the uncertainty. It was used linguistic weights and the assessments are away from certainty. In the analysis under imprecision judgements, the criteria weights are presented as triangular fuzzy numbers to get more reasonable and realistic solutions.
